In 2013, with encourage and great support of provincial government, the Provincial engineering Technology R&D Center of Thermal Imaging(GUANGZHOU SAT) was founded, symbolizing the substantial progress of the built-up and development of the GUANGZHOU SAT  innovation system platform. The establishment of the center not only showed the highly recognition by the government to our potentials in the technology innovation, and also can facilitate the healthy development of engineering of the Chinese infrared imaging technology continuously. With such superior platform, GUANGZHOU  SAT has made further progress in the conversion of the technological achievements, the intellectual property right achievements and the draw-up of national and international standards etc. GUANGZHOU SAT has undertaken over ten research programs initiated by a number of provincial governmental facilities, such as Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, The National Development and Reform Commission and Office of Science and Technology.
