Organized by the National Mechanical Vibration, Shock and Condition Monitoring Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as TC53) and sponsored by SATIR, the 2013 Annual Meeting of TC53 was held at Zhuhai,Guangdong Province during Dec. 8-10.Experts from the TC53 and from its SC1(Subcommittee)/SC2 traversed to converge on Zhuhai for the meeting.

At the commencement of the meeting, Mr. Huang Runhua, the Secretary-General of TC53, made a brief review of the standardization work of the past year. In addition, he also introduced the need to review the manuscript of four national standards, and made a detailed arrangement for the next review.
As a co-sponsor of this annual meeting, SATIR dispatched Wu Tao, deputy general manager and member of TC53/SC2, to attend the meeting. Having the honor of being invited, Mr. Wu introduced SATIR and its products to the existing experts on behalf of the company by giving a brief presentation and made live demonstration of the company’s high-tech products, i.e. "SATIR" series infrared cameras which caused great interests among experts.
After a brief introduction, the experts gathered around a makeshift venue Showcase, required staff of SATIR to demonstrate various types of products. SATIR's G96, MiniIR thermal imager and its VS640 designed for high-end research and development really made a hit at the meeting.
During TC53 annual meeting, “Condition monitoring and diagnostics of machines—Thermography—Part 1: General procedures”, a draft basically made by SATIR was discussed and finally formed ｉｎｔｏ a “Manuscript” which would be soon sent to Standardization Administration of China for reviewing.If getting ratified, it would be a key standard for users while using infrared thermography for the purpose of condition monitoring and diagnostics.
